Welcome to Transitional Kindergarten!

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is the first year of a two-year kindergarten program created under state law for children who will turn age five between September 2nd thru December 2nd. We have established standards for all of our TK students. If your child meets the standards, he will be promoted to a Kindergarten class the following school year.

Your child will have many wonderful experiences this year. TK is a special place to make new friends and participate in learning many new things. Reading and math will go on daily. Discovery will occur in all areas. My goal is to encourage a LOVE for school and learning. It is a true pleasure to work with your child this year.

You can help your child have a successful year by showing a genuine interest. Please read together every day and check your child's backpack for important papers and information.
