Hello!
I attended college in Washington State at Central Washington University, where I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education. I was hired on my college campus by Keith McCarthy, and I drove to Lake Elsinore, site unseen! I began teaching first grade in August of 1988 at Machado Elementary School, and was honored to move to Withrow's Temporary Site at Terra Cotta the following school year. So, I am a Withrow Original!
My teaching experience has included teaching Transitional Kindergarten thru 3d grade with some combination classes thrown in. After a few years of teaching, I completed my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Azusa Pacific University. I am currently teaching Transitional Kindergarten at Withrow Elementary in Lake Elsinore, California and loving it!
I am married to Lance and living in Murrieta, California. We have three children, Elizabeth, Harrison and Isabella. Two of our children are attending Palomar College in San Marcos, and one is happily living in the Seattle area. Some of my hobbies and interests include reading, movies, walking our dogs, and volunteering with the Boy Scouts. I enjoy traveling with friends and family, and visiting them whenever we can.
