On Thursday, December 6th, the following schools in the burn scar area will be OPEN:

• Lakeside High School-open
• Luiseño School-open
• Rice Canyon Elementary-open
• Terra Cotta Middle School-open
• Withrow Elementary-open

On Wednesday, Riverside County Emergency Officials issued a 12-24 hour alert for affected residents to get ready for future evacuation.

In cooperation with emergency officials, the district will notify residents about potential school closures or evacuations via text, email, and telephone recordings. Also, please check for updates on district and school web sites.
